Nova Scotia Health’s diagnostic imaging professionals play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions by performing and interpreting imaging tests. Using advanced technology such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasound, they capture detailed images of the body's internal structures, allowing healthcare providers to identify abnormalities, injuries, or diseases. 

They also collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze images, provide accurate diagnostic reports, and contribute to treatment planning.
