About the Opportunity

The Clinical Training Lead plays a critical role in the success of this complex clinical transformation initiative, ensuring that the training process aligns with best practices and enhances clinical workflows. The Clinical Training Lead at the NSH Care Coordination Centre (C3), reporting to the C3 Provincial Training Manager, is responsible for delivering in-person and virtual training sessions to front-line interprofessional teams on the C3 applications, working closely with unit and site leadership to ensure successful integration and adoption. This role involves developing, evaluating, and refining training resources to support end-users, contributing to various working groups focused on the implementation and continuous improvement of C3 initiatives, and ensuring the effective adoption of C3 technologies across multiple sites.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Graduate of an accredited  registered nursing program and registered with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses (NSCN)
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in clinical area 
  • Experience supporting clinical technology related services in a complex health care organizational environment considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of clinical information/data and how these are managed, used, and operationalized within the clinical information system to create knowledge.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the implementation of evidence-based practice in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership in clinical and policy change.
  • Broad knowledge of the applicable standards of practice and guidelines for clinical practitioners.
  • Broad knowledge of clinical process, workflows, clinical services delivery, and patient/client satisfaction determinants. Demonstrated clinical expertise, with the ability to apply systems and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrates strategic, creative, and strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize current computer applications (Microsoft Office, etc.) and computerized health care application(s).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean or related process improvement principles.
  • Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset

Hours

  • Full-time Long Assignment position, 75 hours biweekly
  • Approximately 12 months
  • Travel within the zone will be required

Compensation and Benefits

$40.15 - $50.19 Hourly
