About the Opportunity

 

Reporting to the Chief Engineer & Facility Manager, or designate, the Shift Operator 4th Class contributes to the safe and effective operation of the facilities by providing a full range of services relating to the day-to-day maintenance and project-related activities for the facilities respecting the heating, air conditioning, power and water generation units, general maintenance.  The Shift Operator 4th Class ensures all functions are completed in accordance with legislation, established standards, policies and exhibits sound professional judgment and initiative while working within the Mission, Vision and Strategic Directions and incorporates into daily practice the Core Competencies and Values of the organization.

About You

 

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

 

  • Certification as a Power Engineer 4th Class required.
  • Travel to other sites may be required and must have access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in plant operations.
  • Knowledge of building code standards and OH&S.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
