About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Education & Learning, the LMS Developer has primary responsibility to OPOR to support the mission, vision and strategic directions by supporting the LMS related tasks and needs of the OPOR Education & Learning portfolio.

The LMS Analyst works with cross-functional team members to utilize end user lists for role-specific OPOR training assignment. This position will include the creation of LMS entries, maintaining training scheduling and delivery details, and automation of testing to support all OPOR Go-Live implementations.

The LMS Analyst will provide expertise on efficiencies within learning management systems, data maintenance and user support within the LMS, ensuring a high degree of attention to details and consistent quality.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Information Science, Education (E-Learning), or Health Informatics. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and relevant experience
  • Experience supporting a learning management system required
  • Experience and/or training with healthcare information systems and terminology an asset
  • Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting an asset
  • Experience supporting clinical application systems and related services in a complex health care organizational environment considered an asset
  • Ability to troubleshoot and document issues, problems and implement resolution
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience creating summary documentation based on evaluation and analysis an asset
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse parties and audiences to document and solve issues
  • Organizational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to clearly communicate the NSHA vision, mission and values
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Long-assignment, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Biweekly 
  • Approximately 12 months (assignment length is subject to change) 

Compensation and Benefits

$33.14 - $41.42 Hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
