About the Opportunity
Nova Scotia Health has received one (1) Canada Summer Job Student Grant from Service Canada. Grant positions will be eight (8) weeks in length beginning in June and running until the end of July. In order to be eligible for grant employment, you must have been a student in 2024/2025 academic year and also enrolled in school for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The positions we are hiring for are as follows:
- Health Records Clerk Student - QEII Hospital
Students who are interested in summer employment and the Canada Summer Job program must submit their resume, by Thursday, April 24th at 11:59 pm Atlantic Standard Time. You must include:
- Your resume. Please highlight if you are currently in high school or enrolled in a healthcare related program or are planning a career in a health related field;
- Confirm that you were a student in 2024/2025 and intend to study in the 2025/2026 academic year;
- Indicate your home city/town (grants are sorted by Federal Ridings);
Hours
- Full-Time, Short Assignment
- 35 hours weekly; 70 hours bi-weekly
- Beginning June 2025, for eight (8) weeks
Compensation and Benefits
$15.70 hourly
