About the Opportunity
The Logistics Manager provides leadership in the operation of a comprehensive Integrated Supply Chain service for the NSH ensuring an efficient responsive high quality service that complies with policies and controls, aligns with strategic and operational planning, and delivers excellence in client relations. The Logistics Manager participates in facility, zone and provincial strategic planning in relation to pandemic, mass casualty and all other hazard responses. The position supports a provincially integrated process and assists with leading the design and development of all supply chain related processes, plans and policies to support the effective, efficient and sustainable delivery of all NSH services and programs.
This position has the opportunity to be based out of Aberdeen Regional, Colchester Regional, Cumberland Regional or St. Martha's Regional.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Undergraduate degree in a related field is required.
- Minimum of Five (5) years' management experience with directing and overseeing the supply chain activities within a large scale organization is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Recognized Professional Supply Chain Designation (CPP/SCMP) is an asset
- Strong leadership skills
- Coaches and motivates team members to optimize team effectiveness
- Excellent communication skills along with strong financial, conceptual and analytical skills
- Strong project management skills with ability to organize, control and coordinate a variety of activities in a fast paced environment
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Possesses a solid understanding of supply chain process and key performance indicators
- Experience with, and a high understanding of IT-driven supply chain
- Ability to delegate issues to team leads and staff
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in working with health care practitioners
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

- Permanent, Full-time / 75 Hours Bi-weekly
Compensation and Benefits
$40.95 - $51.19 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
