About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Principal and Co-Investigators, the Project Coordinator/Analyst is responsible for the coordination of the TRIC-funded Hematuria Clinical Pathway project, based in the NSH Dept. of Diagnostic Imaging. This includes the administration of the project, literature reviews, proposal development, REB submission and communication, focus group organization and running, stakeholder engagement, data management and analysis, and project dissemination (abstract, manuscript).

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Planning and Coordination

  • Plans, develops and co-ordinates the project in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Monitors project expenditures with detailed reconciliation of monthly statements
  • Working with and communicating information to the research team  
  • Conducts reviews of the literature
  • Supports the development of the research proposal
  • Prepares documents for submission to the REB
  • Maintains communication with the REB as required
  • Prepares document for study closure to the REB
  • Maintains, stores and retrieves study documentation

 

Project execution 

  • Recruits study subjects and obtains informed consent
  • Supports data collection (including surveys, interviews and focus groups) with clinicians and staff
  • Assist with qualitative data analysis

 

Project Dissemination

  • Draft the preparation of abstracts, presentations and manuscript
  • Supports the identification of venues for sharing the project

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

 

  • Research Masters degree in the health disciplines or related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), REDCap, Adobe Acrobat, email and internet
  • Previous research experience essential
  • Experience with qualitative data collection and analysis essential
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong scientific and lay writing skills
  • Effective interpersonal, communication and teaching skills
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Effective research and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and rapport-building skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Long  Assignment, Part-Time (40%) / 30 Hours Bi-weekly 
  • July 2025 to July 2027, approximately 24 months

Compensation and Benefits

$38.36 - $47.95 Hourly
