About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the Provincial Clinical Practice Education and Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of education opportunities and evaluation of the Eating Disorders services across the province of Nova Scotia. The Provincial Clinical Practice Education and Evaluation Coordinator ensures fidelity to models of care, program planning, evaluation, implementation, and capacity building at the provincial level. The Provincial Clinical Practice Education and Evaluation Coordinator works in collaboration with the Nova Scotia Eating Disorders Provincial Services (NSEDPS) Provincial Coordinator and Clinical Director, Zonal Clinical Directors (NSH/IWK), Health Service Managers (NSH/IWK), the NSEDPS leadership team and is a clinical resource for Zonal Facilitators and early psychosis teams (NSH/IWK) and other relevant community agencies.

 

The PEEC provides leadership to the entire development and implementation of systematic program evaluation including evaluating service delivery, clinical outcomes measures, quality improvement, and research initiatives which have an impact on care and service provision with the provincial Early Psychosis service (EPINS).

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

 

  • Masters in a Health Care Discipline (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy)
  • License/Registration with relevant discipline
  • Minimum of three to five years of Mental Health and Addictions clinical experience within a multidisciplinary team required
  • Experience providing a range of supervision within an MHA program
  • Adult Education training experience and curriculum development required
  • Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating adult education programming aa asset
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills that are responsive to audience needs an asset
  • Conflict resolution and communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the DSM V diagnostic classification system
  • Supervisory experience an asset
  • Demonstrated experience in program evaluation. 
  • Training in eating disorder psychotherapies (e.g., CBT-T, ARFID,FBT ) and eating disorder assessment is required.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability in team building and working from an interdisciplinary approach
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Permanent, Full-Time / 75 Hours Bi-Weekly

Compensation and Benefits

$50.19 - $59.95 Hourly
