About the Opportunity

The prideHealth Educator (PHE) is responsible (in collaboration with key partners for the assessment, implementation, planning, evaluation, and supportive application of existing and new clinical knowledge and the translation of knowledge to practice. The prime focus of the prideHealth Educator is to coordinate, support, maintain and deliver competency based interprofessional educational curriculum in partnership with curriculum leads (Departments/Divisions of Faculty of Medicine, Nurse Educators, other Clinical Educators) via classroom, procedural skill/task training, simulation learning, clinical learning, and/or online learning strategies, while advancing practice. The IPE practices according to the Registered Health Professionals Network Act, and in accordance with profession specific acts/legislation, their professional regulatory body and in accordance with Standards of Practice. The PHE demonstrates competency in practice, program design and implementation, monitoring and evaluation of education, leadership, and professional practice. This framework is grounded in theories of adult and concept-based learning, practice development, fundamentals of care and collaborative learning and practice.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Baccalaureate degree from a health discipline/health related science in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with professional association if applicable
- Leadership Development Education an asset or a willingness to complete
- Adult Education Program an asset or willingness to complete
- 3 Years of related experience required
In depth knowledge of 2SLGBTQIA+ health topics/issues required
- Preferred experience as a facilitator, with curriculum design, educational module development
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
- Long Assignment, Full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
- Beginning as soon as possible with a duration of September 18, 2026

- Shifts may include evenings, weekends and holidays

Compensation and Benefits
$38.43 - $49.74 hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
