Company Description
Elite Health is a new family practice located in West Bedford, a highly sought-after area. The clinic operates Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no after-hours or on-call requirements. It offers full administrative and billing support, free onsite parking, and uses the MedAccess EMR. The team currently includes one physician and a physician assistant, with another physician joining in 2026, and space for two more. The environment is supportive, features a flat-rate overhead, and is conveniently connected to a pharmacy.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures;
- Advise patients on health care, health promotion, and disease prevention
- Consultation and referral to other medical practitioners
- Act as a patient’s advocate
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations and vaccinations
- Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases as per Nova Scotia Public Health requirements

Qualifications
- All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- All family physicians must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
