Dr. Mark Kazimirskis Practice is a privately owned practice. We are a group of 2 physicians who work independently but connect regularly for case discussions. We are located 40 minutes from Halifax and are on MedAccess EMR. Very flexible with schedule hours and dates. Coverage would fall under the locum program, no additional overhead required and billing is included.

Job Description

Dr. Mark Kazimirksi's Practice is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage from December 1st, 2026-April 30th, 2027

Locum physicians provide coverage for family practices, including inpatient and nursing home care, as well as specialist hospital and office coverage as requested. Compensation includes a minimum daily income guarantee of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 for half-day), with additional earnings if shadow billings exceed this amount. Travel expenses, including kilometrage, per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), are reimbursed, along with travel time up to 10 hours per week. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered, and locum physicians may claim Facility On Call fees under specific conditions.
