About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Health Services Lead, the Physician Assistant (PA) will work under the direction and supervision of the Physician to provide preventative and/or ongoing medical and clinical care management to patients. This position contributes to extending the services provided by the Physician, through completing assessments and interventions along the spectrum of care provided to patients within their division/department under their supervisory agreement. Travel to other sites may be required.

•    Permanent full-time positions; 75 hours biweekly

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Graduate of or currently enrolled in an accredited recognized Physician Assistant program in Canada, United Kingdom, or United States
  • Certified or eligible for certification with the Physician Assistant's Certification Council, General Medical Council, or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Nova Scotia
  • Willingness to obtain Medical Liability Insurance
  • Certifications or willingness to obtain, when needed: Basic Life Supports, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Pediatric Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support
